Rental Terms
Reservations – Please call well in advance to ensure the departure date of
your choice. Reservations can be taken by phone, fax, or via email over the internet.
Deposit
– We will require a $500.00 total deposit consisting of $250 at the time we book
your reservation, and the remaining $250 at the time of pick-up.
The deposit is completely refundable less any damages/cleaning
charges.
Payment
– Payment for designated days, unlimited mileage option
or estimated miles are due at the time of pick-up. Additional
mileage, extra days (must call for permission; subject to availability)
and fuel charges are due at time of check-in. We accept Visa/MasterCard,
cashiers checks, travelers checks, and U.S. currency please.
Cancellation
– Cancellations made over 30 days prior to departure are
subject to a $25.00 processing fee. Three weeks in advance the
charge is 50% of the deposit, two weeks or less/no shows, the
entire deposit is forfeited. * We realize that real life emergencies
do happen with very little warning, and we are willing to negotiate
these terms only in the event of a medical emergency
that can be verified!
Rules for Drivers–
Drivers/Renters must be at least 25 years old with a valid U.S.
or International driver’s license. Please be sure to list
all drivers on the reservation information form.
Pick-up and Drop
off – The Rental office
is open Monday – Thursday from 8:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m.,
and Fridays from 8 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. Arrangements to meet
are easy to make, and we’ll do our best to accommodate
you. (except on major holidays). Don’t worry, we’ll
work it out! Please see our Rates Page for details on weekend pick-ups.
Travel Areas –
Please limit your travel to these areas: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and lower British Columbia mainland/Vancouver Island. Our boundaries defining the lower B.C. mainland are from Williams Lake SOUTH and from Kootenay Lake WEST. (Advance campsite reservation for first night is strongly
recommended for International and other long distance travelers.) Our travel restrictions are not negotiable.
Camper Rules –
No smoking in the camper; please step outside! We will provide
moderate cleaning supplies. We expect renters to keep the campers
relatively clean, and return them in good condition. This will
help us to keep our costs down. Yours too! Normal wear and tear
is expected, but we do not offer cleaning as a service and leaving
a mess is considered damage. NO PETS PLEASE! Evidence of a pet
will result in loss of the total deposit.
